AAUW will host membership breakfast
The Thousand Oaks chapter of the American Association of University Women will host its Fall Membership Appreciation Breakfast on Sat., Sept. 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Two Dole Drive, Westlake Village.
The theme will be “Planting the Seeds for Growth.”
Registration will take place starting at 8 a.m.
Special interest tables from the group will display information about activities.
The buffet breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the program will begin at 9:30 a.m.
A drawing for a Four Seasons Hotel spa package for two will benefit local scholarships.
Arnold Bresky, M.D., will give a talk on “Tune up your brain, tune up your life.”
Bresky graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn College and received his medical degree from Albert Einstein Medical School in New York. His internship was at UCLA and his OBGYN residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in California.
After 30 years of practice in OB-GYN, he began researching Alzheimer’s disease and has created a ninestep “memory retrieval protocol” program.
