Professional Medical Careers Institute School of Nursing recently awarded 30 pins and certificates of completion to students who completed a 185-hour nursing assistant course. The pinning ceremony took place at the GrantBrimhall/Thousand Oaks Library.

The students obtained clinical experience at local healthcare facilities, including Westlake Healthcare, Thousand Oaks Healthcare and Oak View Assisted Living.

The graduates will take the state certification and competency examination to become certified nursing assistants. Following are the local graduates:

Santa Rosa Valley: Danielle Weinstein.

Thousand Oaks: Alyssa Gelinas, Alisha Reiley.

Westlake Village: Aurora Banales, Erinn Barnett, Melinda Martinez, Elaine Pillado, Ventura; Katherine Fleming.
