Rosh Hashanah will be celebrated starting Friday evening, Sept. 18 and Yom Kippur begins Sunday evening, Sept. 27.

Fifteen-hundred adults and children are expected to attend the services in the 8,000squarefoot Grand Ballroom. The hotel board rooms are used for the Junior Congregation and teen sessions.

A staff of educators will conduct Junior Congregation. The children’s program includes prayers, stories, songs, contests, prizes and refreshments.

The services are open to all Jews. No membership fees or prior affiliation are needed to attend. Hebrew-English prayer books (machzorim) are provided.

The traditional service is blended with contemporary insights. Many of the prayers and customs are explained during services.
