Inexpensive family entertainment will feature handmade instruments, pop/folk and more
Guests can bring a drum or music shaker to participate in a drum circle at 2 p.m.
At 3 p.m. storyteller, blues musician and cultural historian Charles “Wsir” Johnson wilperform on instruments he made himself from West African Akonting.
Dogwood Moon will perform at 4 p.m. This duo of Jonathan Grossman and Laurie Gunning Grossman will play electro-acoustic pop/folk songs with tight vocal harmonies.
Guitarist/singer Jonathan McEuen is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
The event will also have free rock painting, music shaker making, local artists’ displays and food.
The cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.
