Flying formations wing over Camarillo
Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 723 will host the Wings over Camarillo 2009 event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat. and Sun., Aug. 22 to 23 at Camarillo Airport on Skyway Drive.
World War II air crew veterans will be honored as the grand marshals. The NinetyNines, the International Women Pilots Association, will serve a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m. There will be activities for children, food booths, vendors and aircraft flying.
A three-hour narrated flying exhibition will start at 1 p.m. Wings will conclude with flights of Warbirds, formations of rarely seen WWII fighters, bombers and transport planes.
Admission is $6. Children under 10 are free. Parking is free.
