Three masked men stormed into and robbed the Bank of America at 2012 E. Avenida de Los Arboles at 5:19 p.m. Wed., July 29.

One of them was armed with a handgun.

The robbers ordered customers and employees to the floor and fled within minutes with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Nobody was injured.

The getaway vehicle was quickly abandoned behind the nearby Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH).

The thieves drove away from OSH in a blue Ford Expedition. Bank robbers often use a stolen car and then quickly switch to another vehicle, which makes catching them more difficult.

Police haven’t supplied a description of the robbers because they wore masks.

A T.O. girl, 10, was sitting in her father’s car when the suspects arrived, and she heard them order people to the floor. When she saw and heard what was happening, she exited her father’s car and went to a nearby yogurt store and said, “The bank is being robbed. Call 911.”

The girl’s father, Fionnbarr Kelly, 46, of Thousand Oaks, was making a deposit.
