Learning about horses
PONIES AND STORIES—Kaylie Moore of Thousand Oaks, in the back, and Kyla Navarrette, 4, of Sylmar listen to a story as ponies prance across a mural on the barn wall. The girls were attending a recent “Books in the Barn” event at Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship in Newbury Park. Ride On teamed up with Kiwanis Club of Conejo Valley for this year’s event, which was themed “Christmas in July.”
