Family witnesses eclipse


ENJOYING A SPECTACULAR EVENT—Meghan, Marianne, Terry and Colleen Murphy of the Westlake portion of Thousand Oaks took their T.O. Acorn on vacation to the coast of Iwo Jima, where they observed the longest total solar eclipse of this century (see inset.) It’s time to submit “Take Your T.O. Acorn on Vacation” photos. The contest will end in late September. Watch for an ad next week which will specify the deadline. Vacation photos will run until they’re gone, probably next  spring  or  early  summer.  Digital  photos  should  be  sent  as  JPG  attachments  to vacation@theacorn.com. Be sure to include caption information and your name, address and phone number.
