Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass., has announced its dean's list for the spring semester of the 2009 academic year.

To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade-point average of 3.4 or above. A part-time student must achieve a grade-point average of 3.6 or above.

The following local students have earned placement on the dean's list.

Newbury Park: Jana Borg. Agoura Hills: Molly FalckWill Hampton and Dustin HigginsThousand Oaks: Laurie Schillinger

Westlake Village: Jordan Seigel and Lara Wilson.

Berklee offers fouryear degrees. The curriculum focuses on practical career preparation for today's music industry.
