The U.S. Commerce Association (USCA) is recognizing and honoring RE/MAX Olson & Associate's Roy Brasher with the Thousand Oaks Best of 2009 Award. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Brasher has several community projects: He is the major sponsor of one school's golf tournament and two elementary jogathons. They have raised more than $75,000, 100 percent of which goes to students wanting a quality Christian education. He and his wife have sent more than 100 boxes to their Philippine projects, providing water resources, clothes and toys and also sponsoring nursing students through their education program there.
