Newbury Park

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 41, at 4:30 p.m. July 17 at Old Conejo and Reino roads (subject allegedly left the scene of a traffic accident); a female, 59, at 12:10 a.m. July 19 at Lynn Road and Greenmeadow Avenue (subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident).

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a female, 22, at 7:50 p.m. July 23 in the 500 block of Highview Street; three subjects—two females, 50 and 52, and one 45-year-old male—between 7:20 and 7:50 p.m. July 18 in the 3800 block of San Felipe Avenue.

A male, 65, was arrested at Target, 2705 Teller Road, at 5:32 p.m. July 22 and charged with threatening his spouse with violence in a letter.

A team of five burglars entered Target at 2705 Teller Road seven times between June 22 and July 22 in attempts to steal video games and other electronic merchandise. During the seventh and most recent burglary between 5:42 and 6:24 p.m. July 22, three burglars stole merchandise.

A burglar broke into a locked garage and stole a motorcycle on July 17 or 18 in the 600 block of Malaga Court.

Two females, 35 and 44, were cited for battery at 9:30 p.m. July 20 in the 1300 block of Delverde Court.

A male, 26, allegedly possessed false identification used to steal someone's personal information, make purchases and open two phone accounts. The subject was arrested at 9:30 p.m. July 21 at the 101 Freeway and Ventu Park Road.

On charges of prowling and possessing stolen property, two males, 23 and 21, were arrested at 6 a.m. July 17 at Hillcrest Avenue and Marin Street.

A thief stole $400 in cash from someone's wallet on July 20 or 21 in the first block of Beatty Place.

A male, 21, was cited for giving alcohol to two juveniles under 18 at 3 p.m. July 20 in the first block of Lucas Court.

Property ($500) was vandalized with spray paint on July 20 or 21 in the 900 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

Thieves stole about $1,700 in women's makeup at CVS at 123 N. Reino Road between 9 and 9:15 p.m. July 19.

A male, 21, was arrested and charged with violating a restraining order at 6:50 p.m. July 17 in the 100 block of Dorena Drive.

For fleeing the scene of a traffic accident, a male, 23, was cited at 5:15 p.m. July 22 in the 1600 block of Calle Zafiro.

A female, 26, was cited in connection with a hit-and-run traffic collision and for giving false information to police at 3:15 p.m. July 22 in the 1600 block of Calle Zafiro.

On suspicion of violating terms of his parole by committing a theft, a male, 22, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. July 23 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata.

A burglar stole a keyless entry device and possibly damaged generator doors during the late night of July 16 in the 1000 block of Newbury Road.

Property was stolen from unlocked vehicles between 5 and 5:13 a.m. July 17 in the 900 block of Tapies Court, and between 5 and 5:15 a.m. July 17 in the 1000 block of La Grange Avenue.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 61, at 11:42 p.m. July 18 at Gold Strike Avenue and Fargo Street; a male, 25, at 11:56 p.m. July 22 on Thousand Oaks Boulevard just east of Moorpark Road (subject was allegedly driving with a beer in his hand).

A female, 22, was arrested and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance at noon July 17 in the 500 block of Hampshire Road.

For allegedly committing battery, a male, 48, was cited at 12:09 p.m. July 21 in the 400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 24, was arrested at the East County Sheriff's Station on July 22 in connection with two related domestic violence incidents that occurred at 6:39 a.m. July 18 in the first block of McAfee Court.

On charges of violating a domestic violation restraining order and possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 41, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. July 18 in the 2700 block of Cabot Court.

A female, 64, was cited for shoplifting at 8 p.m. July 17 at Vons, 1790 N. Moorpark Road.

Unauthorized monetary transactions were made between May 8 and June 12 in the 1500 block of Warwick Avenue. The crime was recently reported.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: between 6 and 8:30 p.m. July 9 in the 900 block of Calle Contento; between 7:20 and 11 p.m. July 21 in the 100 block of Westlake Boulevard (unlocked); on July 17 in the 200 block of Foxhills Drive (unlocked); on July 18 in the 1000 block of Triunfo Canyon Road (burglar used a garage remote control found inside one of two vehicles and stole property from the home and garage); between 7:45 and 10 a.m. July 18 at the parking area for Wildwood Regional Park at Avenida de Los Arboles and Big Sky Drive (window shattered); between 8:30 and 10:40 p.m. July 18 in the 4100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between July 17 and 19 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane.

Auto parts valued at $80 were stolen between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. July 21 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Vandals painted obscene language on a theater wall and wooden stage platform, teepeed the storage area and broke a building window at Thousand Oaks High School on July 16 and 17. The total damage was $628.

Two transformers valued at more than $400 were stolen between July 17 and 21 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Boxes of merchandise were stolen from a FedEx truck between 12:25 and 12:40 p.m. July 17 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Jewelry was stolen from an apartment between June 1 and July 17 in the 2100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A wallet was stolen between 1:45 and 2:15 p.m. July 18 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Graffiti defaced property ($50 in damage) on July 17 in the 2000 block of Pine Terrace Drive.

Shoplifting occurred at J.C. Penney at 280 W. Hillcrest Drive between 6:35 and 7:10 p.m. July 17.

A home was burglarized between 4 and 10:30 p.m. July 17 in the 3000 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 50, was cited for sleeping in his vehicle at 2:30 a.m. July 20 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A female, 40, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public three times recently: at 4:15 p.m. July 17 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road; at 9:50 p.m. July 21 in the 600 block of Moorpark Road; and at 9:45 a.m. July 23 in the first block of E. Wilbur Road.

A male, 64, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 11:45 p.m. July 17 in the 1200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

The following subjects were cited for drinking in public: a male, 51, at 5:55 p.m. July 17 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; five males, between the ages of 34 and 51, around 8:50 p.m. July 17 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 44, was arrested for allegedly committing battery at 10:45 a.m. July 21 in the 900 block of Sandpiper Circle.

Electronic equipment and golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on July 16 or 17 in the 100 block of Los Padres Drive.

Property was stolen from one of two unlocked vehicles on July 21 or 22 in the 2400 block of Leaflock Avenue. A similar crime occurred on July 17 or 18 in the 800 block of Rim Crest Drive.
