The Bella Vita Italian Social Club will host an old-fashioned picnic with ribs, chicken, beans, beverages and activities from 1 to 5 p.m. Sun., Aug. 16 at Conejo Community Park No. 1, next to the Botanical Gardens. Food service will start at 1:30 p.m.

Guests are welcome at a cost of $17.
