The Traveling Music Van, sponsored by the New West Symphony League, will be parked at the food court patio just outside the food court at The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 6.

Children of all ages may experience a hands-on opportunity to hear and play musical instruments as part of the monthly Kids Club sponsored by the mall.

The Music Van travels to various locations so that children can see, touch and play brass, string and percussion instruments.

Anne Lazo, director of education for the New West Symphony, and volunteers will be on site to assist the children.

New West Symphony League provides financial support for the New West Symphony and its educational program.
