New business at Janss Mall
Property owner and manager NewMark Merrill Companies announced several new tenant leases at the Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks.
Subway Sandwich Shop opened this month; Lucky's Dog Housewill open during the fourth quarter, and Toys R Us signed a fiveyear lease extension, the company said.
The 830-square-foot Subway Sandwich Shop, which opened July 1, is in the former Quizno's space in the center's remodeled food court near Mann Theatres and Gold's Gym.
Lucky's Dog House signed a 10-year lease for approximately 550 square feet formerly occupied by Frank's Char BroilerLucky's Dog House, which also
owns a restaurant in Mooreparkwill open its second location athe Janss Marketplace this fall.
Lucky's Dog House will be located near Rite Aid and Toys R Us, the national toy retailer which just extended its 43,000square-foot space lease.
The new mix of local, regional and national tenants adds to a current lineup that includes Buca di Beppo, Daphne's, Panera Bread, Gold's Gym, Marshalls, Old Navy, Mann Theatres and TGI Friday's.
Originally built as two separate centers in 1959, the property was redeveloped in 1995 by the Janss family.
In 2001 the Janss family sold the center to a group led by NewMark Merrill Companies and RPP.
