Laura Hayden A free Comedy Night for people affected by cancer will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Mon., Aug. 10 at the Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village.

The featured performer will be Laura Hayden

Hayden's performance credits include the New York Underground Comedy Festival, Boston International Comedy Festival, Laugh Factory, The Friars Club and the Comedy Store.

She was also a semifinalist in California's Funniest Female contest.

The monthly Comedy Night series is made possible by funds raised at the Stand Up for Cancer Survivors fundraiser in 2008.

The event is free for people with cancer, cancer survivors and their families.
