Stand-up Christian comic and corporate speaker Jerry Miner will perform at 7 p.m. Sun., July 19 at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 588 Camino Manzanas, Thousand Oaks.

Described as "hilarious" by the Los Angeles Times, Miner has appeared nationally on Comedy Central, Arts & Entertainment, ESPN, HBO, NBC, and FOX.

He's teamed with such comics as Jay Leno, Kevin Pollak and Bill Cosby.

The event is open to the public. Tickets are $10 at the door, with all proceeds benefiting local and global mission projects.
