Confrontation in the sky


FACEOFF—A red tail hawk refuses to leave a treetop despite harassment from the crow above. The faceoff took place recently in the Sunset Hills portion of Thousand Oaks. Birds of prey are often the target of other, smaller birds (unlike this case). Quick, agile flyers in the sky are known to tease predators almost everywhere.
