Tammy Lee Snyder of Thousand Oaks, CA, born on March 3, 1972 in Biloxi, MS passed away on July 3, 2009 at the age of 37 from a massive heart attack after fighting heart disease for nine years.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard Snyder and their 3 daughters, Amanda Rae, age 17; Ashley Rhiann, age 13; and Alyssa Rose, age 11. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Marie and Hal Winterrose, her father, Tom Plum and 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Tammy's greatest joy was her family. She and Richard shared the type of love written about in fairy tales. She was an active stayat-home mom who was very involved in her girls' lives - from volunteering at school or girl scouts to attending all of their track meets, soccer, volleyball, and softball games. Tammy had an extended network of family and friends because she genuinely opened up her heart to everyone she met. Her heart was full of happiness and love and she enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing here.

A memorial fund for Tammy's children has been set up at First Christian Church, 801 Knollwood Drive, Newbury Park, CA 91320.
