Senior Concerns to host Ultimate Dining event
The 24th annual Senior Concerns' Ultimate Dining fundraiser will be at 5 p.m. Sun., Aug. 2 at Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.
Local chefs will present gourmet appetizers, dinner, fine wines and beer in the hotel garden, followed by desserts in the ballroom.
The chefs are Steve Jonhson of the Hyatt, Edwin Cruz of Provence at Westlake Village, Kristen Ofeldt of Cafe Firenze, Everado Moreno of The Grill on the Alley, Todd Aarons of Tierra Sur, Scott Diehl of North Ranch Country Club, Chad Welch of Atria Executive Dining, Phyllis Vacarelli of Westlake Culinary Institute and May Culbertson of May's Kitchen.
Silent and live auction items include a trip for two to the Four Seasons in Maui, an all-inclusive trip for two to the Canyon Resort and Spa in Tucson, Ariz., and a variety of library wines and vintages from California wineries.
The opportunity drawing will be for a man's Tag Heuer wristwatch valued at $4,000. Tickets for the drawing are $20 for one, three for $50, or six for $100.
Event tickets are $125 per person. Proceeds benefit Senior Concerns, a private nonprofit social service agency for frail and special need seniors and their families and caregivers.
