Chamber promotes networking

•The Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County will report on programs, loans and services that are free of charge to business owners at the networking breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Fri., July 10 at the Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.
Registration and breakfast begin at 6:45 a.m. and an early bird drawing takes place at 7 a.m.
The EDC-VC provides business services free of charge to small business. Bruce Stenslie, agency president, will discuss business enhancement and loan programs and economic developers roundtable. The cost is $27 for members and $30 for nonmembers at the door.
•Learn how to make health insurance affordable for a business at the new Business Enhancement Luncheon on Fri., July 17 at Westlake Village Inn, 31943 Agoura Road, Westlake Village. Registration, lunch and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program from noon to 1 p.m.
Brian McCoy, with the BenELect Chamber Affinity Program, will explain how employers can save 30 to 50 percent on healthcare premiums and increase flexibility in plan design.
Cost is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for nonmembers and guests. Payment and reservations are due by 2 p.m. Wed., July 15.
Reservations are required and walk-ins will not be admitted.
•A summer fiesta After Five Mixer will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wed., July 15 at Sotheby's International Realty, 971 S. Westlake Blvd., Ste., 100, Westlake Village.
Cisco's restaurant will provide refreshments, and there will be raffle prizes. Cost is $2 for Chamber members and $15 for nonmembers. Reservations not required.
