Sheriff's Blotter Newbury Park A robber stole cash from Citibank on Newbury Road between 1:20 and 1:24 p.m. June 20. The male allegedly entered the bank and handed a note to a teller. In his note, he demanded money and indicated he had a weapon. The teller was fearful and complied, and the robber fled the scene. A male, 38, was arrested and charged with annoying or molesting a child under the age of 18, secretly videotaping a person's undergarments and eavesdropping at 8:20 p.m. June 18 in the 2000 block of Wheelwright Lane. For allegedly violating a domestic restraining order by going to his estranged wife's home and pushing her, a male, 45, was arrested at 11:24 p.m. June 19 in the 100 block of Lupe Avenue. A male, 36, was arrested for allegedly punching his wife in the head and injuring her at 3:45 a.m. June 20 in the 500 block of Debbie Street. A female, 47, was cited for battery after allegedly slapping her husband in the face during the confrontation. For allegedly committing domestic battery, a male, 45, was arrested at 5:33 p.m. June 21 in the 2300 block of Adrian Street. Two males, 18 and 19, were arrested for allegedly possessing stolen property at 11:35 a.m. June 21 in the 200 block of Brook Road. A female, 27, was cited for shoplifting at Kohl's on Newbury Road at 6:15 p.m. June 22. Property was stolen from a business between 2:20 and 2:25 p.m. June 19 in the 2300 block of Teller Road. A male, 50, was cited for being involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident at 4:05 p.m. June 19 in the 200 block of Maple Road. For drinking alcohol in public, a male, 40, was cited at 4:30 p.m. June 19 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A male, 41, was cited for a loud noise violation at 12:01 a.m. June 21 in the 200 block of Cay Court. A vehicle break-in occurred on June 22 or 23 in the 300 block of Charro Avenue. Thousand Oaks The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 19, at 3:15 a.m. June 21 in the 1300 block of Calle Crisantemo (subject was involved in a hit-and-run accident); and a male, 31, at 12:15 a.m. June 22 at the southbound 101 Freeway on the northbound 23 Freeway connector. A female, 43, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 3 p.m. June 23 in the 2000 block of Calle Salto. A female, 43, was similarly charged at 1:55 p.m. June 18 in the 600 block of Shadow Lake Drive. Two males, 23 and 22, and one other assailant allegedly assaulted three victims with a chain and belt buckles. They were arrested on suspicion of committing assault with a deadly weapon at 1:55 a.m. June 22 at Moorpark Road and the 101 Freeway onramp. A male, 22, was arrested on suspicion of committing assault with a deadly weapon at 1:55 a.m. June 22 in the first block of Rolling Oaks Drive. A male, 20, was arrested for allegedly committing various acts of child molestation at 1:34 p.m. June 23 in the 2400 block of Vista Wood Circle. A male, 20, allegedly threatened someone with a knife and brass knuckles then threatened to kill that person if he or she didn't depart. The subject was arrested at 2:15 a.m. June 20 in the 200 block of E. Wilbur Road. A female, 21, was arrested for allegedly inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant at 5 a.m. June 21 at Hampshire Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard. For allegedly battering and injuring someone he's engaged to and living with, a male, 44, was arrested at 3:59 p.m. June 19 in the first block of W. Olsen Road. A male, 45, was cited for battery at East County Sheriff's Station on June 19 for a crime that allegedly occurred around 10:30 p.m. June 16 in the 1200 block of Alessandro Drive in Newbury Park. For allegedly inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, a female, 41, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. June 19 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive. A male, 41, was arrested for allegedly battering his girlfriend at 9:45 p.m. June 19 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive. For allegedly battering his wife by pushing her and hitting her in the head with his first, a male, 66, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 2:53 p.m. June 21 in the 1400 block of Montgomery Road. A male, 42, was arrested for violating a domestic restraining order at 2:08 a.m. June 20 in the first block of E. Wilbur Road. A male, 25, was arrested on a charge of possession of lost property at 4:30 p.m. June 23 in the 800 block of Avenida de Los Arboles. For allegedly attempting to pass several counterfeit checks at The Oaks mall, a female, 25, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. June 20. A male, 18, was arrested on suspicion of obstructing justice at 3:10 a.m. June 21 in the 1300 block of Calle Crisantemo. For possessing two pills believed to be Xanax, a male, 19, was cited for possession of a controlled substance at 10:20 p.m. June 19 at Warwick Drive and Janss Road. A female, 28, was cited for possessing pills believed to be Vicodin and Klonopin without prescriptions at 6:45 p.m. June 20 in the first block of Marimar Street. A $300 window was broken at Bada Sushi on Brazil Street between 5:50 and 6 a.m. June 22. A home was burglarized between May 15 and 22 in the 4000 block of Crestview Circle. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On June 17 or 18 in the 2900 block of Rikkard Drive (unlocked); between 3 and 6 p.m. June 16 in the first block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; on June 20 or 21 in the 1400 block of Calle Tulipan; and on June 18 or 19 in the 1400 block of Norwich Avenue. A vandal used spray paint and damaged a vehicle between noon and 2 p.m. June 19 in the 2200 block of Moss Court. A $350 vehicle windshield was damaged with an unknown projectile on June 18 or 19 in the 500 block of Wilbur Road. A vehicle was vandalized ($200 in damage) on June 15 or 16 in the 2400 block of Rikkard Drive. Another vehicle was vandalized in the 2700 block of Rikkard Drive on June 16. A vehicle was vandalized ($350 in damage) on June 18 or 19 in the 300 block of E. Gainsborough Road. Property valued at $250 was stolen on June 16 or 17 in the 500 block of Meadow Grove Lane. Petty theft occurred on June 17 or 18 in the 1900 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles. A mailbox had $50 in damage after vandalism on June 17 or 18 in the 1800 block of Burleson Avenue. Property valued at $3,000 was stolen between June 16 and 18 in the 500 block of Meadow Grove Lane. A shoplifter stole merchandise from Best Buy on N. Moorpark Road around 2 p.m. June 21. A firearm was stolen between May 15 and June 12 in the first block of Helecho Court. Gang graffiti was discovered on property belonging to seven different victims between 2 and 9:30 a.m. June 21 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road. The damage exceeded $400, making it a felony. Gang graffiti caused damage at IndyMac Bank on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on June 21 or 22. The loss was $25. Two sound walls were spray painted with graffiti on June 12 in the 200 block of Avenida de Las Flores. Construction equipment was stolen on June 18 or 19 in the 2000 block of Tretham Road. Westlake/T.O. More than $400 in property was stolen from Galletto Bar and Grill on S. Westlake Boulevard on June 12. Petty theft occurred between 11:45 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. June 10 in the 2700 block of Agoura Road. Property valued at $300 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on June 20 or 21 in the 3200 block of W. Sierra Drive. Property was also stolen from another unlocked vehicle on June 19 or 20 in the same block. A wallet was stolen from a purse between 11:50 a.m. and 12:28 p.m. June 17 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Someone stole property between June 14 and 23 in the 1200 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. |
