The Young Artists Ensemble will present its 29th annual teen summer musical, "West Side Story," from July 17 through 26 at the Janet and Ray Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Evening performances are 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are 2:30 p.m. There will be no performances on July 20 and 21.

The musical is based on a conception of Jerome Robbins, with book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

The production is directed and choreographed by Mayme Paul-Thompson, with musical direction by Zach Spencer and orchestra direction by Susan Treworgy.

Reserved seat tickets range from $17 to $21. Tickets are on sale through the Hillcrest Center for the Arts box office.
