Teens to win prizes at free reading club
      The Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library is offering a free summer teen reading club, "Express Yourself @ Your Library!" for youths in sixth grade and up. The club has no reading requirements, no required number of books to read and no limitations on genres or reading levels. Teens may read whatever appeals to them.

N.P. Library to sell used books
      The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library will have a used book sale from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Fri., July 10 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., July 11 at the Newbury Park Branch Library, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park. Thousands of books will be available, priced at 35 cents for children's book, 50 cents for paperbacks and $1 for hardbacks.

Temple to help children develop social skills

Kids can learn how to build, program and run robots
      Robotics & Things of Simi Valley has scheduled the fifth annual ROBOTICS camp/ workshop in Agoura Hills for three sessions in July and August. All sessions will offer the same programming and will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with lunch and breaks.

Presidential library to host events on July Fourth
