T.O. Arts Festival calls for vendors

Ventura County visual artists can enter the sixth annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat. and Sun., Sept. 26 and 27 at T.O. Civic Arts Plaza's Mary and Richard Carpenter Park, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., and at The Lakes, the adjacent shopping center.

The event will feature more than 60 local visual arts exhibitors, live performances, art demonstrations and more. The application deadline is July 30.

Artists' booths are $275, with a $50 application fee. Tables, chairs and canopy are provided for each booth. Friday setup is encouraged, and overnight security is provided.

Festival admission is free for the public.
