Rice coming to Reagan Library in Simi Valley

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation will host former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice at 6 p.m. Tues., July 14 at the Reagan Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.

Rice will deliver remarks at the Perspectives on Leadership Forum.

Rice served as the 66th secretary of state of the United States from 2005 to 2009. Before serving as America's chief diplomat, she served as assistant to the president for National Security Affairs from January 2001 to 2005.

Rice is the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution and professor of political science at Stanford University.

She has authored and coauthored several books.
