Newbury Park resident Michael Fagre, 38, was arrested by Ventura County Sheriff's Department detectives for allegedly secretly installing cameras in a home in his neighborhood.

Michael Fagre The two women living in the house thought they had privacy in their own bathroom, but detectives allege Fagre was digitally recording them withhidden cameras.

It was after Fagre's roommate found a DVD of the women and turned it over to police that the investigation began, said Detective Anthony Aguirre.

Aguirre said some of the recordings of the neighbors viewed thus far were made from 2005 to 2007. Other recordings were made inside Fagre's home in the 2000 block of Wheelwright Lane, Aguirre said.

The investigation is continuing as detectives view other digital recordings.

Fagre, former owner of Relax, a Thousand Oaks massage business, was arrested in front of his home at 8:30 p.m. Thurs., June 18.
