IRIS SMOOT/Acorn Newspapers GROUP OBSERVES ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY- Jill Van Velzer of Cabrillo Music Theatre sings for the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley during the organization's 40th anniversary celebration. It took place last Saturday afternoon at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts and included a sneak-peek performance by the Conejo Players, songs from upcoming performances, awards for longtime council members and refreshments.
