Doctor to discuss cancer research
Susie Jun, MD, will discuss the stateoftheart findings of international leaders in the field of breast cancer research, detection and treatment as presented at the 2008 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today, June 18, at the Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village.
Jun will present the most current information about new breast cancer therapies in development and the latest thinking on chemotherapy.
Jun is a clinical research medical director at Amgen in Thousand Oaks.
She received a medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor and a doctorate in biochemistry and molecular genetics from The Rockefeller University in New York.
The free class is open to people with cancer, cancer survivors and their families.
