Locally Grown concert will feature variety of music

The Locally Grown benefit concert will take place Sat., June 20 in Libbey Bowl, Ojai. Doors open at 5 p.m.

The show will feature a mix of musical styles including American roots rock, MexicanAmerican rhythms, Reggae and Afro-Cuban beats.

The headliner is Mason Jennings.

Ojai resident and Grammy Award-nominee Perla Batalla will be joined onstage by East Los Angeles Chicano music pioneers Quetzal.

Opening act is Culver City Dub Collective.

Proceeds will benefit Food for Thought's farmtoschool program.

The program educates children about healthy food choices and the importance of good environmental stewardship in the Ojai Unified School District.
