The U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West will perform a free concert at 6:30 p.m. Fri., July 3 at Gardens of the World, 2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

Free parking will be available at the Civic Arts Plaza parking structure across the street as well as along T.O Boulevard near the gardens.

The band will perform a variety of musical styles. Featured trombone soloist Master Sgt. Tom Eckert will perform "The Carnival of Venice" with the band. Senior Airman Pamela MacKenzie will be a featured vocalist.

The concert will take place at the gardens' American Bandstand, where lawn seating is available. Guests may also bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics. Smoking, glass containers and pets are not allowed.
