Jordan Alatorre Jordan Alatorre Jordan Alatorre graduated six months early but took the stage at Century High School's graduation last week.

Jordan is the Star Scholar award winner and was named top scholar—Century's version of valedictorian—of his graduating class.

Jordan said English and psychology were his favorite classes in high school because "they will help me pursue whatever career I choose."

Jordan said that in 10 years he hopes to be directing movies. He is already working hard on developing his future at Moorpark College.

Jordan named Nikola Tesla, the inventor and engineer known for his contributions to the fields of electricity and magnetism, as the person who has had the most influence in his life up to this point.

Tesla is a hero "because of his amazing achievement and discoveries that have helped mankind," Jordan said.

Jordan is the son of David and Cheryl Alatorre.
