Newbury Park

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 24, at 2:15 a.m. June 7 at Borchard Road and Theresa Drive; and a male, 32, at 10:25 p.m. June 9 at Jenny and William drives.

A male, 27, allegedly grabbed and threw one person onto the ground, knocking that person unconscious. The subject then allegedly grabbed a second person by the collar before letting go. He was arrested at 2:40 p.m. June 6 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 43, allegedly attempted to shoplift goods from Home Depot on Teller Road around 6:20 p.m. June 5.

For possessing alcohol and marijuana while driving, a male, 19, was cited at 1:40 a.m. June 7 in the 1600 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 51, was cited for drinking alcohol in public at 3 p.m. June 5 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

Vandals caused $2,500 in damage by breaking into a vacant home on June 6 in the 1900 block of Rudolph Drive.

Property was damaged ($500 loss) between midnight and 8 a.m. June 5 in the 100 block of E. Kelley Road.

A home break-in occurred between 12:30 and 6 p.m. on June 5 in the 1600 block of Margate Place.

A cellphone was stolen on May 30 or 31 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

Vandals cut a hole in a chain link fence, and broke three skylights by throwing rocks from a roof between June 5 and 8 in the 4200 block of Kimber Drive. The loss from damage was estimated at $8,600.

The loss was $400 after a rear vehicle window was shattered on June 4 or 5 in the 1400 block of Kathleen Drive.

A vehicle window was damaged ($200 loss) by a BB or pellet gun on June 5 or 6 in the first block of Greenmeadow Avenue.

A vehicle window was shattered ($200 loss) on June 4 or 5 in the 100 block of Heavenly Valley Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between May 28 and June 9 in the 2300 block of Teller Road (electronic items stolen from Time Warner Cable truck); between 12:15 and 3 p.m. June 7 in the 1300 block of Alessandro Drive (unlocked); and between June 7 and 9 in the 1200 block of Alessandro Drive.

Thousand Oaks

A documented gang member, Eduardo Mascareno, 18, was arrested and charged with battering someone in a gang-related incident. The subject was arrested at 4:30 p.m. May 22 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Rancho Road for a crime that occurred on April 9.

A male, 24, allegedly battered and injured the mother of his children, and then he lied to police about his name and date of birth. The subject was arrested at 9:30 p.m. June 7 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 37, at 2:25 a.m. June 4 at Hendrix Avenue and Janss Road; a female, 50, at 10:35 p.m. June 11 at Janss Road and Hendrix Avenue (subject was allegedly involved in two separate hit-and-run accidents); a male, 30, at 10:50 p.m. June 4 at Hampshire Road and the southbound 101 Freeway; a female, 50, at 12:30 a.m. June 6 at Moorpark and Janss roads; a male, 37, at 5:15 a.m. June 6 in the 2800 block of Shelterwood Court (subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident); a female, 52, at 2:45 p.m. May 29 at Hampshire Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 47, at 7 p.m. June 7 at Erbes Road and Avenida de Los Arboles (subject was allegedly involved in a noninjury, hit-and-run accident); and a male, 28, at 2:45 a.m. June 5 at N. Moorpark Road and Calle Contento.

A robber attempted to take property from someone by using force around 8:19 a.m. June 6 in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

For allegedly battering and injuring his girlfriend, a male, 21, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. June 11 in the 400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The crime occurred in the 800 block of St. Charles Drive.

A male, 31, was arrested for allegedly battering and injuring his spouse at 8:20 p.m. June 11 in the 1300 block of Calle Tulipan.

A male, 46, allegedly neglected the health of a dependent adult, placing that person in danger of great bodily injury or death. The subject, who resisted arrest, was taken into custody at 9:30 a.m. June 9 in the 1600 block of Shadow Oaks Place.

A male, 18, was cited for possessing marijuana and Xanax without prescriptions at 5:30 p.m. June 4 in the Muvico Theatre parking lot.

A vandal poured glue inside an apartment keyhole ($80 in damage) on June 5 or 6 in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue.

A female, 38, allegedly attempted to purchase $300 in gift cards from Fuddruckers restaurant on N. Moorpark Road by using phony identification and fake credit cards. The subject was arrested at 9:30 p.m. June 10.

A female, 18, was arrested on charges of commercial burglary, possession of burglary tools and being involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision at 9 a.m. June 10 at East Valley Sheriff's Station. The crimes occurred on May 27 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 62, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. June 9 in the 1300 block of Uppingham Drive and charged with failing to obey a court order and committing vandalism.

A male, 20, was arrested and charged with possessing stolen property at 3:23 p.m. June 6 in the 200 block of Sandberg Street.

A male, 24, was cited for vandalism at 10:10 p.m. June 6 in the 100 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On June 10 or 11 in the 200 block of Calle Jazmin (unlocked); on June 9 or 10 in the 200 block of Yellowstone Avenue (unlocked); between 11 and 11:10 a.m. June 5 in the 1000 block of Hollyhock Street (vehicle and $400 of property were stolen); between 8:50 and 10:30 a.m. June 6 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane; on June 6 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road; between 12:30 and 6 a.m. June 8 in the 1400 block of Trafalgar Court; and on June 8 or 9 in the 2300 block of Silver Spring Drive.

Two vehicle tires valued at $185 were slashed on June 5 or 6 in the 2300 block of Whitechapel Place. A $350 windshield of another vehicle was damaged with a coffee mug in the same block during the same time period.

A home was burglarized between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. June 3 in the 3300 block of S. Allegheny Court.

Property valued at $1,000 was stolen on June 3 or 4 in the 1500 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A juvenile stole merchandise from J.C. Penney in The Oaks mall between 3 and 3:48 p.m. June 7.

A $58 shirt from Nordstrom in The Oaks was stolen between Jan. 1 and June 6.

Money was stolen from snack machines between June 4 and 8 in the first block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

More than $400 in jewelry was stolen between May 1 and June 7 in the 100 block of W. Donnick Avenue.

Property was stolen from Ralphs on N. Moorpark Road between 5 and 5:17 p.m. June 11.

Property from a man's gym locker at 24 Hour Fitness on Thousand Oaks Boulevard was stolen between 4:29 and 4:59 p.m. on June 8.

Property was stolen from a tack room on June 8 or 9 in the 500 block of Rimrock Road.

A juvenile stole property around 10:45 p.m. June 5 in the 1500 block of Thornhill Avenue.

A male, 41, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 1:30 a.m. June 6 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive. A male, 26, was arrested on the same charge at 10:45 p.m. June 6 in the 700 block of Shadow Lake Drive.

Four males between the ages of 21 and 33 were cited for exchanging money while playing cards in public at 1:30 p.m. June 4 at Hampshire and Royal Oaks roads.

A male, 18, was cited for possessing alcohol as a minor at 8 p.m. June 11 at Calle Ciruelo and Calle Narcisco.

Two males, 30 and 48, were cited for drinking in public at 9:10 p.m. June 5 in the 1400 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 48, was arrested at 2:11 p.m. June 5 in the 3900 block of Auto Mall Drive and charged with attempting to buy merchandise with a forged check.

A male, 54, allegedly attempted to pass multiple checks with insufficient funds at a business and was arrested at 7:26 p.m. June 11 in the 1100 block of Lindero Canyon Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On June 10 or 11 in the 2500 block of Northshore Lane (unlocked); between 10 and 11:30 a.m. June 6 in the 4700 block of Valley Spring Drive (unlocked); between 6 and 9:30 a.m. June 8 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard (several electronic items stolen); and on June 4 or 5 in the 1800 block of Smokey Ridge Avenue.

A male, 28, was arrested and charged with committing a petty theft with prior convictions at 9 p.m. June 5 in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A $180 vehicle window was damaged between June 5 and 8 in the 800 block of Blue Spring Road.
