Big Brother is watching in Thousand Oaks

My name is Brit-El Gibson, and I'm 12. Though I used to go to Sequoia Middle School, I am now homeschooled by the online service k12.

Today I read the article in the Acorn that says that neighbors are encouraged to rat out on other neighbors, say, if they're taking a shower for too long or something similar.

Not only is that disgusting, it's similar to what the communists did. I used to think that this sort of thing only happened in sci-fi "commie utopia future" books like "1984," but, apparently, I was proven wrong.

Also, I'm a regular at the dog park, and until we called the office, it was so flooded around the water fountain area that the dogs got muddy, so I think that the city should look at what it does before it tells us what to do.

I have to say this was not the future I ever imagined, except the time that I had a dream that something like 1984 was actually happening!

This is an extremely fascist policy, which should be stopped immediately. Brit-El Gibson Newbury Park
