The Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge will host a greet, meet and eat community barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., June 27 at the lodge, 158 Conejo School Road, Thousand Oaks.

Members and officers of the patriotic fraternal organization will be available for facility tours and to answer questions and provide a better understanding of the role Elks play in the community.

The event will also include music, Gymie-Jo clown and train rides.

Thousand Oaks Elks contribute thousands of dollars to national, state and local charities. The Elks is one of the largest sources of scholarship money in the United States.
