Newbury Park

A male, 51, allegedly resisted arrest by attempting to hit a Ventura County deputy. The subject was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, being involved in a hitand-run traffic collision and committing battery at 8:25 p.m. May 29 at Conejo Center and Lawrence drives.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 32, at 1:45 a.m. May 31 at Kimber Drive and Daniel Street; and a male, 19, at 4:25 p.m. May 30 at Avenida Del Platino and Calle Zafiro.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 28, at 10:50 p.m. June 2 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road (subject allegedly took crystal methamphetamine); a female, 46, at 7:15 p.m. May 30 at Ventu Park Road and Hillcrest Drive; and a male, 18, at 4:25 p.m. May 25 in the 100 block of Greenmeadow Drive.

A male, 28, and a female, 24, were arrested on charges of burglary at 1:10 p.m. May 30 in the 2700 block of Teller Drive.

A male, 19, was cited for allegedly possessing a small amount of marijuana at 6:45 p.m. May 30 at Ventu Park Road and Hillcrest Drive.

A $3,800 louver vent was broken on June 1 or 2 at Rancho Conejo Playfield.

Graffiti vandalism caused $50 in damage on May 28 or 29 at Avenida Del Platino and Calle Zafiro.

Graffiti vandalism was the cause of damage on June 2 or 3 to the Newbury Park Branch Library on Borchard Road.

A home burglary was attempted on June 1 or 2 in the first block of E. Kelley Road. The damage is $15.

A commercial burglary was attempted on May 30 or 31 in the 1000 block of Newbury Drive. The damage was estimated at $1,200.

A cellphone was stolen between noon and 3 p.m. June 3 in the 2800 block of Borchard Road. It was used to send text messages to other phones.

Auto parts were stolen May 29 or 30 in the 800 block of Davers Circle.

A vehicle was vandalized (more than $400 in damage) between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m. May 31 in the 300 block of Greenmeadow Avenue. A similar crime occurred between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m. May 31 in the 800 block of Tupelo Wood Court.

A vehicle break-in occurred May 30 or 31 in the 600 block of Valley Oak Lane. A similar crime occurred between May 30 and June 1 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court;

For allegedly drinking in public, a male, 50, was cited at 9:30 p.m. May 29 at Rancho Conejo and Hillcrest drives.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 56, at 2:48 a.m. May 31 at Moorpark Road and Rolling Oaks Drive; a female, 47, at 11 p.m. May 26 at Olsen and Erbes roads; a male, 30, at 1:53 a.m. May 27 at Erbes and Tubbs roads; and a female, 43, at 3 a.m. May 30 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Oak Brook Drive.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 18, at 6:25 p.m. June 1 at Sidlee Street and Columbia Road (subject allegedly violated a court order and possessed a controlled substance); and a male, 35, at 10:15 a.m. May 28 in the 900 block of Witherspoon Drive.

An assailant head-butted and punched someone in the face, knocking a tooth out and injuring the victim's head between 12:15 and 12:45 a.m. May 29 near The Oaks mall.

A highway robbery occurred between 1:30 and 1:48 p.m. June 3 in the 3200 block of Big Sky Drive.

A female, 49, allegedly passed fictitious checks in the first block of Taylor Court on May 19. The subject was also charged with burglary at the time of her arrest on June 2 in Ventura.

A male, 44, allegedly violated a domestic restraining order by calling someone on the telephone and coming within 100 yards of that person's home at 8:15 a.m. May 27 in the 700 block of Mondego Place.

A male, 21, was arrested May 27 in Ventura and charged with possessing stolen property in the 600 block of Paseo Esmerelda Drive.

A male, 37, was cited for allegedly stealing water from a fire hydrant at 11 a.m. June 3 in the 100 block of W. Carlisle Canyon Road.

For being involved in a hitandrun traffic collision, a female, 50, was cited at 10:55 a.m. May 26 at Cottonwood Court, west of American Oaks Avenue.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: May 27 or 28 in the 3900 block of Bucklin Place (two unlocked vehicles in the same block); between 4 and 10 p.m. May 29 in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; May 29 or 30 in the 1700 block of Woodside Drive (unlocked); May 31 in the 2800 block of Silk Oak Avenue (unlocked); between 7 and 10 a.m. June 3 in the 2100 block of Los Feliz Drive (unlocked); June 1 or 2 in the 2200 block of Solway Court (unlocked); between 3:30 and 3:58 a.m. May 31 in the 3500 block of Indian Ridge Circle; between May 30 and June 1 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; June 1 or 2 in the 2800 block of Sandhurst Avenue; and May 30 or 31 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A vehicle belonging to the U.S. Secret Service was vandalized ($350 in damage) between 9 and 11 p.m. May 31 in the first block of Teasdale Street.

A vehicle was tampered with and had $20 in damage on May 29 in the 200 block of Whiteside Place.

A $300 vehicle window was broken on May 30 or 31 in the 2200 block of Hood Drive.

The back window of a car was broken on May 30 or 31 in the 400 block of Galsworthy Street.

A $500 catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between noon and 7 p.m. May 30 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Vandals used a BB or pellet gun to shatter a $250 vehicle window on May 30 or 31 in the 800 block of Capitan Street. Similar crimes occurred on the same dates in the 700 block of Cypress Street and the 600 block of Valley Oak Lane.

Firearms valued at $950 were stolen from a locked storage shed between May 12 and June 2 in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A home was burglarized between April 4 and 18 in the 3200 block of Sawtoothe Court. The crime was recently reported.

Property was vandalized (a more than $400 loss) on May 30 or 31 in the 700 block of Springwood Street.

Vandals caused $200 in property damage between 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. May 31 in the 1100 block of Calle Pecos.

Two door locks were filled with glue ($160 loss) between May 28 and 30 in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue.

Property was stolen from The Lakes parking lot between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. May 30.

Shoplifters stole property from 7Eleven on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard around 11:40 p.m. June 1.

Gang graffiti was discovered on June 1 in the 200 block of Brazil Street.

Gang graffiti caused $300 in damage to a storm drain between March 18 and May 13 in the 2500 block of N. Moorpark Road. The crime was only recently reported.

Graffiti was the cause of about $100 in damage to Muvico around 7:10 p.m. May 15 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was vandalized with graffiti ($50 loss) between 7 and 11 a.m. May 29 in the 200 block of Erbes Road.

Burglars broke into a storage facility at Conejo Community Park, 1201 Dover Ave., on June 3 or 4. An attempt was also made to burglarize the snack bar.

Grand theft occurred at Best Buy on N. Moorpark Road between 3:40 and 4:05 p.m. May 28.

Petty theft occurred between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. May 26 in the 1300 block of Moorpark Road.

A commercial burglary was attempted while three other businesses were burglarized between May 29 and June 1 in the first block of W. Rolling Oaks Drive.

A male, 24, was cited for allegedly possessing a small amount of marijuana at 6 p.m. May 31 in the 700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public: A male, 37, at 12:30 a.m. May 18 next to the Carl's Jr. restaurant at 1384 N. Moorpark Road; a male, 30, at 1:35 p.m. June 1 at Estella Park at 304 Erbes Road (subject admitted to drinking tequila); a male, 43, at 1:35 p.m. at Estella Park (subject admitted to drinking beer); and a female, 40, at 7:45 p.m. May 31 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 18, was cited for allegedly urinating in public at 10:02 p.m. May 28 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 48, admitted to police that he had urinated in public after watching the end of the Lakers' game at a nearby sports bar. The subject was cited at 8:45 p.m. May 29 in the 800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Four males between the ages of 30 and 50 were cited for allegedly drinking alcohol in public between 10:15 and 10:30 p.m. May 29 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

Westlake/T.O.

A computer and a backpack were stolen from a vehicle between 3:35 and 3:50 p.m. May 26 in the 100 block of Westlake Boulevard.

On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a female, 43, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. April 10 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

Grand theft occurred between 12:55 and 1:18 p.m. May 29 in the 100 block of Promenade Way.

A vehicle break-in occurred on May 29 or 30 in the 800 block of Hartglen Avenue.

Property was damaged ($500 loss) at the Exotic Green Garden on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on May 31.
