Cal Lutheran University will offer summer vocal program to young students
California Lutheran University will offer the Summer Vocal Institute July 12 through 25. The program is open to students ages 12 to 18, who may attend one or both weeks.
In the first week, Wyant Morton will direct the students in ensemble singing, culminating in a choir concert. Each participant will receive a private lesson and/or coaching.
Technique and theory will be addressed.
In the second week, Valencia Vas of Pepperdine University and Angela Rasmussen of CLU will offer the students oneonone lessons, coursework in vocal repertoire, technique, sight singing, performance etiquette, interpretation and movement.
Each week the students will have opportunities to attend or perform in concerts.
