Garden tea party will benefit Hospice

Tea in the Garden, an event to benefit Hospice of the Conejo, will be hosted by Evie Bystrom and Rick Herrrera on Sun., June 14 at their home in Thousand Oaks.

The gathering will feature demonstrations on assembling floral arrangements, basket making, and tours of the gardens, greenhouse and vineyard.

Additional activities include horseshoes, ping-pong and "an array of whimsical tables" for the main event.

A stylish hat and low shoes are recommended for women.

Tickets are $50, with all proceeds donated to Hospice of the Conejo, which provides services for client families at no cost.
