A male, 51, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 11:20 p.m. May 28 in the 100 block of Academy Drive.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 41, at 11:18 a.m. May 20 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; and a male, 40, at 11:25 p.m. May 20 at the 101 Freeway and the truck scales at the top of the grade (the subject also allegedly possessed a controlled substance).
A male, 23, was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale and growing marijuana at 10:05 a.m. May 20 in the 100 block of Jerome Avenue.
A male, 24, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and violating paroleat 9 a.m. May 20 in the 100 block of Jerome Avenue.
A male, 23, allegedly had a stolen handgun with the serial numbers filed off in his bedroom on April 8 in the 100 block of Walter Avenue. The subject was arrested on May 21 at East County Sheriff's Station.
A male, 53, was arrested for allegedly pushing and injuring his wife at 9:42 p.m. May 22 in the first block of Dandelion Court.
An incident of battery allegedly occurred around 8 p.m. May 23 in the 600 block of Paseo La Perla.
A burglar caused $2,500 in damage during an attempted theft between 12:50 and 1:13 a.m. May 26 in the 5500 block of Via Bonita.
A male, 31, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at Bella Luna restaurant on N. Ventu Park Road at 9:15 p.m. May 23. The subject reportedly was trying to start fights with restaurant employees. A male, 37, was also arrested on the same charge at 7:50 p.m. May 27 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.
Property was stolen between May 24 and 26 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.
Three thieves stole merchandise from Kohl's on Newbury Road between 3:34 and 4:19 p.m. May 27.
A motor home had graffiti damage on May 17 or 18 in the 100 block of Bluefield Street.
Park tables and benches were marked with gang graffiti at Dos Vientos Community Park between May 18 and 22.
Graffiti was sprayed on a car, causing $800 in damage, on May 23 or 24 in the 3400 block of Crestwood Court.
Property was vandalized with graffiti on May 23 or 24 in the 3400 block of Crestwood Court.
Spray paint was applied to a street and manhole cover on May 23 or 24 in the 3400 block of Crestwood Court.
Gasoline was stolen from a parked vehicle between May 20 and 22 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court.
Merchandise valued at $25 was stolen from Newbury Park Bicycle Shop on Newbury Road around 4 p.m. May 22.
Shoplifters stole property from Target on Teller Road on several occasions between April 18 and May 22.
A home burglary occurred between 10:40 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. May 20 in the 400 block of Bob Court.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On May 26 in the 100 block of Via Merida; between 1 and 3 p.m. April 22 in the 100 block of Via Merida; and between May 10 and 23 in the 700 block of Lawrence Drive.
Thousand Oaks
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 47, at 5:55 a.m. May 18 in the 1400 b lock of Calle Pimiento (subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident); a female, 51, at 12:50 a.m. May 22 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive (subject reportedly hit three parked cars); a female, 44, at 4:45 p.m. May 22 in the 400 block of Raindance Street (subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident); a male, 58, at 6:30 p.m. at The Oaks mall parking lot (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision); a male, 22, at 10 p.m. May 23 at Brossard Drive and Flittner Circle; a male, 50, at 6:45 p.m. May 27 in the 400 block of Calle Jazmin; and a male, 21, at 2:02 a.m. May 27 at Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 43, at 12:45 p.m. May 22 in the 3000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 50, at 12:35 p.m. May 22 in the 3000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a female, 35, at 10:45 a.m. May 28 in the 900 block of Witherspoon Drive.
A female, 66, was arrested for allegedly committing assault with a deadly weapon around noon May 25 in the 1300 block of Calle Bouganvilla. A 65-year-old male at the scene was also arrested on the same charge. Another male, 49, was cited for battery.
A female, 21, allegedly used a screwdriver to stab someone in the arm, causing trauma. The subject was arrested at 5:45 p.m. May 25 in the 400 block of Rancho Road.
A male, 48, was cited for allegedly punching a minor in the mouth with a closed fist at 9 p.m. May 28 in the 3400 block of Birdsong Avenue.
For possessing Ventura County jail clothing, a female, 18, was cited at 9:40 a.m. May 22 in the 1000 block of E. Ashford Court.
A male, 37, couldn't pay for his taxi ride, and was cited at 9 p.m. May 19 in the 500 block of W. Gainsborough Road.
A female, 20, was cited for allegedly stealing property at 3:35 p.m. May 23 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
A vehicle break-in occurred between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. May 23 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles. Tools were stolen from a pickup truck. A similar crime occurred between 2:30 and 3:45 p.m. May 20 at the 24 Hour Fitness gym on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Vehicle windows were shattered between May 14 and 16 at Brossard and Houston drives.
Two vehicles were damaged on May 23 or 24 in the 2900 block of Knightsbridge Avenue.
A $1,000 front passenger door of a vehicle was dented on May 24 or 25 in the 2400 block of Pleasant Way.
A vehicle was spray painted with graffiti ($1,200 in damage) on May 24 or 25 in the 1400 block of Pathfinder Avenue. At other homes on the same block, graffiti damaged light poles ($300 loss); graffiti was discovered on bushes, lighting fixtures and a driveway; graffiti was applied to a mailbox and rock, and a vehicle was damaged.
Vandals spray painted vehicles and broke the mirror of one car on May 24 or 25 in the 1500 block of Pathfinder Avenue. An exterior lighting device also was damaged at another location on the same block.
A vandal damaged two door locks by filling keyholes with glue on May 21 or 22 in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue. The damage was $160.
A bicycle was stolen between 10:45 and 11:45 p.m. May 18 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive.
A purse was stolen at Sunset Terrace restaurant on N. Moorpark Road during the late evening of May 24.
Someone stole property between May 23 and 26 in the 200 block of Fairview Road.
A vandal caused $1,500 in property damage around 10 p.m. May 27 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.
A grand theft occurred between noon and 1 p.m. May 15 in the 1000 block of Mountain Oaks Place.
Gang graffiti damaged $500 in property on May 21 or 22 in the 300 block of Erbes Road.
A bathroom door was vandalized with graffiti at Jack in the Box on N. Moorpark Road. It was discovered around 7:20 p.m. May 24.
A juvenile stole clothes from Urban Outfitters at The Oaks mall between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m. May 22. A petty theft was also reported at the business at 3:30 p.m. May 23 and around 4:45 p.m. on May 25.
A fence was damaged with a pellet gun on May 22 in the 100 block of Triangle Street.
On suspicion of stealing a 30can pack of beer, a male, 18, was arrested at noon May 21 in the 1900 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.
A male, 49, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana at 7:30 p.m. May 25 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and The Lakes Drive. A male, 28, was cited for the same infraction at 8:14 p.m. May 28 at Montgomery and Janss roads.
For disturbing the peace with loud music, a male, 45, was cited at 5:45 p.m. May 24 in the 100 block of N. Oak View Drive.
A female, 40, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 1:20 p.m. May 28 in the first block of N. Moorpark Road.
For being drunk in public, a male, 50, was cited at 9:20 p.m. May 20 in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road.
The following subjects were cited for drinking alcohol in public: Three males between the ages of 24 and 35 at 12:35 p.m. May 23 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue; three males, between the ages of 28 and 47, at 4:40 p.m. at Los Robles and Hampshire roads; and a female, 40, at 3 p.m. May 25 at N. Moorpark Road and E. Hillcrest Drive.
For drinking Steel Reserve malt liquor from a Taco Bell cup in public, a male, 53, was cited at 12:35 p.m. May 25 in the first block of S. Rancho Road.
Westlake/T.O.
A female, 53, was arrested and charged with possessing a $25,000 stolen diamond, at 10:30 a.m. May 22 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
Vandals caused $1,500 in property damage on May 22 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
Property valued at $500 was damaged around 1:30 a.m. May 29 in the 2600 block of Northshore Lane.
A male, 31, was cited for urinating in public at 7:50 p.m. May 23 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
