An RV eyesore and more clutter can be easily seen on Arboles
      I find it amusing that the city is reviewing its RV parking policy. I assume the reasons include aesthetics and code compliance, so why then have the city and its attorney dismissed our concerns/complaints regarding a property in the 1400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles?

Coyote coverage was biased in the T.O. Acorn story
      In response to your recent article as well as similar articles you have published in the past, I object to the tone taken by the Thou sand Oaks Acorn . The slant of the article "Coyotes getting far too bold in Sunset Hills" is a very negative, alarmist portrayal of wild animals.

Gay marriage will be revisited in the future
      To all of my LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) friends and family members, even the ones I don't know, I'm so very sorry about the recent ruling. You know this fight isn't over, but I also want you to know you have straight, Christian friends who will continue this fight for equality with you.

Bill in Congress isn't fair to mortgage brokers
      Why is it that Barney Franks and his co-authors of HR 1728 think it's a good idea to do away with mortgage brokers by eliminating the yield spread premium (YSP)? HR 1728 will make it illegal for mortgage brokers to earn a YSP when pricing mortgage loans to consumers.

Chicago Tribune isn't liberal
      Just a note of clarification about Bob Meisterling's letter in the May 28 T.O. Acorn . He stated that the Chicago Tri bune is a "liberal" newspaper. It is not. It is and has been for its entire existence a "conservative" paper.

Readers reminded one more time about hearing aids
      This is a follow-up to my April 23 "Consumers have the right to return hearing aids" letter. I'm a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. I don't presently sell hearing aids. When purchasing hearing aids, you're making an investment to improve your quality of life. You'll be working with the dispenser for followup.
