Aspen Elementary School to host Summerfest

Summerfest 2009 Neighborhood Celebration will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. Fri., June 5 at Aspen Elementary School, 1870 Oberlin Road, Thousand Oaks.

The event will include carnival games, concessions, giant slides and obstacle course, craft and business vendors, raffle prizes, silent auction and a sweet shop, as well as entertainment by Carmen Carter from "Dancing with the Stars" and a Pat Benatar tribute band, Treat Me Right.

The Aspen PFA is sponsoring Summerfest.
