CVUSD rescinds about 30 percent of its layoffs
      Conejo Valley Unified School District recently rescinded about 30 percent of its layoff notices. But 71 teachers and counselors were told they wouldn't be coming back to CVUSD next year, although the district can still rehire them.

Junior at WHS helps kids who need school supplies
      Brandon Sand, a Westlake High School junior, has collected gently used school supplies from the students of Westlake Hills Elementary School again this year for donation to less fortunate students in the Los Angeles Unified School District. This was Brandon's second collection year.
