A male, 26, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:42 a.m. May 17 at Ventu Park and Newbury roads.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 50, at 4 p.m. May 16 in the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive; a female, 33, at 4:40 p.m. May 16 in the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive (subject allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia); and a male, 39, at 3:30 p.m. May 16 in the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive (subject allegedly possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine and a glass pipe).
Property was stolen from a front porch on May 14 or 15 in the 200 block of S. Ventu Park Road.
A business was burglarized between 9:20 and 9:29 p.m. May 20 in the 800 block of Lawrence Drive.
Property was stolen from a business between 4 and 4:30 p.m. May 15 in the 1200 block of Lawrence Drive.
Burglars stole more than $400 in property from a business between 4 and 4:15 p.m. May 15 in the 2000 block of Anchor Court.
Thieves targeted Home Depot on Teller Road around 7 p.m. May 19.
A shoplifter stole merchandise from Target around 2:35 p.m. May 4.
A home burglary was attempted around noon May 18 in the 300 block of Greenmeadow Avenue.
A truck and trailer with more than $400 of music equipment was stolen on May 15 or 16 in the 2200 block of Michael Drive.
Equipment was stolen from the beds of two pickups on May 14 and 15 in the 3500 block of Old Conejo Road.
Gang graffiti was marked on a wall on May 15 or 16 in the 500 block of S. Havenside Avenue.
A vehicle break-in occurred on May 16 or 17 in the 1400 block of Kathleen Drive.
Thousand Oaks
Carlos Esteban Contreras, 23, a documented gang member and convicted felon, was arrested and charged with possessing two handguns and ammunition at 5:30 p.m. May 14 in the 900 block of Avenida de Las Flores.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 61, at 5 a.m. May 15 at Thousand Oaks and Westlake boulevards; a female, 18, at 1:15 a.m. May 16 on Kanan Road, west of Falling Star Avenue (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision); a male, 31, at 10 p.m. May 17 in the 2600 block of Los Robles Road; a male, 33, at 10:10 p.m. May 18 at Hillcrest Drive and Erbes Road; and a female, 50, at 10:10 p.m. May 19 at Janss Road and the 23 Freeway.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 47, at 12:30 p.m. May 17 in the 1400 block of Suffolk Avenue (subject reportedly resisted arrest); a male, 61, at 9:45 a.m. May 19 in the 1300 block of Uppingham Drive (subject was also charged with indecent exposure); and a female, 39, at 9:15 p.m. May 16 at Los Feliz Drive and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
A male, 52, was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill two people and making them fear for their lives at 12:05 a.m. May 14 in the 1400 block of Calle Fidelidad. The subject was also charged with false imprisonment with violence for trapping one person in a kitchen.
A 31-year-old woman was stabbed in the torso with an unknown object around 1:30 a.m. May 14 in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
A man in his 20s was robbed after an assailant hit him, reached into his pants pocket and stole money around 10 p.m. May 20 in the 2800 block of Los Feliz Drive.
For allegedly committing battery around 11:30 a.m. May 13 in the 2600 block of Calle Limonero, a male, 48, was cited in Ventura on May 19.
A male, 25, allegedly committed battery with serious bodily injury at 12:37 p.m. May 15 in the 900 block of Laurelwood Lane, and was arrested the next day at East County Sheriff's Station.
A male, 46, was arrested and charged with domestic violence at 3:35 p.m. May 15 in the 2600 block of Miller Place.
For allegedly inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, a male, 56, was arrested at 10 a.m. May 18 in the 1100 block of Calle Las Trancas.
During a domestic argument, a male, 53, allegedly pushed someone to the ground, causing a traumatic injury. The subject was arrested at 9:45 p.m. May 17 in the 400 block of Wilbur Court.
A male, 36, was cited for violating a domestic violence restraining order at 1 a.m. May 20 in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
For allegedly grabbing someone's throat during an argument, a male, 70, was cited at 2:11 p.m. May 18 in the 3300 block of Allegheny Drive.
A male, 19, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 4:05 a.m. May 14 in the 500 block of Calle Jazmin.
For allegedly possessing a bag of Xanax—a controlled substance— a male, 19, was arrested at 6:15 p.m. May 18 at Hillcrest Drive and Lynn Road.
For allegedly lying to police about his identity, a male, 26, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. May 16 in the 400 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
A male, 23, was cited for shoplifting at 9 p.m. May 15 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. Twelve minutes earlier, a male, 19, was cited for the same infraction at the same location.
Two males, 19 and 43, and a female, 20, were arrested and charged with selling food from pushcarts without licenses at 1:45 p.m. May 17 in the 100 block of E. Janss Road.
For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 48, was cited at 10 p.m. May 15 at Janss Road and Moorpark Road.
A female, 19, allegedly fled the scene of a traffic accident at 2:06 a.m. May 19 in the 400 block of Moorpark Road, and she was cited in the 3400 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard in Camarillo.
A computer workstation at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library was vandalized with gang graffiti on May 12 or 13. The damage was $25.
A vandal damaged a computer keyboard ($50 loss) with graffiti at the T.O. Library on May 14.
Gang graffiti was found at Los Cerritos Middle School on May 7.
Gang graffiti caused property damage on May 18 or 19 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.
Gang graffiti ($20 in damage) was written on a retaining wall on May 9 or 10 in the 100 block of W. Columbia Road.
Graffiti vandals struck at two locations on May 14 or 15 in the 200 block of W. Columbia Road ($5 and $25 in damage).
Graffiti was marked on a wall between May 16 and 19 in the 1500 block of Norwich Avenue.
More than $400 in property was stolen from a backyard on May 15 or 16 in the 500 block of Rio Grande Circle.
A woman's purse was stolen between 2 and 3 p.m. May 15 in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road.
A home burglary was attempted May 12 in the 200 block of Green Moor Place.
A clothes rack of merchandise was stolen between 10 and 11:30 a.m. May 19 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
A woman's locker was broken into and a cellphone was stolen at 24 Hour Fitness, 2595 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. between 8:30 and 10 p.m. May 18.
A $350 gym window was broken at Redwood Middle School on May 16 or 17.
A block wall was smashed and a playground slide was vandalized at Pinecrest School on E. Wilbur Road on May 17 or 18. The total damage was $3,150.
A thief attempted to steal merchandise from Metropark clothing store at The Oaks mall between 5:45 and 8 p.m. May 16.
Someone entered a home without permission between May 16 and 18 in the 3300 block of Allegheny Court.
A vehicle break-in occurred May 15 and 18 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road. Another vehicle was broken into ($890 in damage) between 2 and 6 a.m. May 14 in the 1200 block of Encino Vista Court.
A vehicle was vandalized between 2:30 and 3 a.m. May 19 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda.
Vehicle windows ($1,000 in damage) were broken between May 14 and 16 in the 200 block of Houston Drive.
A $300 vehicle window was broken between May 14 and 16 in the 800 block of Brossard Drive.
Vehicle windows were shattered between May 14 and 16 on the southwest corner of Brossard and Houston drives.
For allegedly exposing his penis to someone during a road rage incident at the Park Oaks Shopping Center at Moorpark and Janss roads around 12:52 p.m. April 29, a male, 46, was cited May 12.
A male, 24, was cited for urinating in public at 2:08 a.m. May 20 in the 200 block of Moorpark Road.
The following subjects were arrested or given citations on suspicion of being drunk in public: A male, 59, at noon May 18 in the 2000 block of Dewberry Court; a male, 37, at 7:40 a.m. May 20 at the north side of Thousand Oaks High School, near the bus barn; and a male, 42, at 8:53 p.m. May 18 in the first block of Church Road (subject allegedly caused a disturbance at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting).
A male, 53, who's known by police for drinking alcohol in public, was cited for sipping from a 24-ounce can of Bud Light next to the Pizza Hut on Rancho Road at 1:30 p.m. May 17. The subject willingly poured out the remaining beer.
Westlake/T.O.
Acts of vandalism, theft, burglary and trespassing were reported at Galletto's on S. Westlake Boulevard. The incidents allegedly occurred between Jan. 1 and May 16.
A male, 56, was cited for alleged vandalism and trespassing at 8:20 p.m. May 19 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
Several road signs were vandalized with graffiti on May 16 at Lindero Canyon Road and Rockfield Street.
Shoplifting occurred between May 15 and 17 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
