The Center for Early Jewish Education in Thousand Oaks recently celebrated the confirmation of its students at The Renaissance Hotel, Agoura Hills.

Daniel Ceco, David Goldberg, Jordan Hannel, Marissa Klein, Stacie Lindenbaum, Abigail Merrin and Daniel Schlesinger, under the guidance of their teacher Jodi Spindel, led the congregation in a Havdalah service, and affirmed their commitment to Judaism before their family and friends.

The service was the culmination of the two-year confirmation program that covers community service and leadership skills, and provides social opportunities in a spiritual environment.

First-, third- and fourth-year confirmation students Rachael Berenson, Alyssa Kriss, Kevin Zucker, Jordan Paladino, Melanie Nernberg, Adam Russak and Erin Zucker also participated in the service.

A buffet dinner followed the service.
