Senior Concerns appoints board member

Scott Polzin has been elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of Senior Concerns, a nonprofit social agency providing services for aging seniors and their caregiver families.

He was appointed as executive director of University Village retirement community in Thousand Oaks in 2006.

Previous to that position Polzin was administrator of Casa de las Campanas, a continuing care retirement community in Rancho Bernardo, Calif. and general manager of the Brighton Gardens of Carmel Valley for Marriott Senior Living.

Senior Concerns is based in Thousand Oaks.
