The Ventura County Democratic Party will host the 2009 annual Spring Fling from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sun., May 31 at the Rosenmund Ranch, 2816 S. Rice Road, Oxnard.

The family event is a fundraiser to help the party register 10,000 new voters.

Invited candidates are Joe Canciamilla, Rocky Delgadillo, Kamala Harris, Ted Lieu, Pedro Nava and Alberto Torrico.

Teresa Russell and Cocobilli will provide musical entertainment.

El Pollo Norteno will cater a barbecue chicken and tri-tip dinner with vegetarian option on request. Strawberry desserts are included.

The event will also have a silent and live auctions, games and prizes.

Auction items include a twoweek Hawaiian condo vacation and lunch with a politician.

Children will have a supervised play area.
