Newbury Park

A male, 25, was arrested and charged with burglary, threatening to shoot someone and resisting arrest at 6 p.m. May 10 in the back of Amgen building No. 73.

A male, 43, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs—and charging at police deputies—at 12:30 a.m. May 6 in the 200 block of San Vincente Circle.

A male, 46, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 7 p.m. April 4 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

For allegedly driving recklessly and evading police, a male, 57, was cited at 6 p.m. May 9 near the 1700 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 35, reportedly didn't return lost property in the 1500 block of Newbury Road on March 15, and he was arrested May 11 at the downtown Ventura jail.

For allegedly possessing multiple bottles of medication without prescriptions, a male, 18, was cited at 2:15 a.m. May 9 in the 3600 block of Spanish Gate Drive.

Gang graffiti was found on four walls throughout the Conejo Creek Condominiums on May 10.

Gang graffiti caused property damage between May 8 and 11 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata.

Spray painted graffiti was discovered on May 11 in the 3300 block of Kimber Drive.

Graffiti was spray painted on a basketball court on May 9 or 10 at Wendy and Donald drives.

Graffiti was the cause of property damage on May 10 in the 3200 block of Bear Creek Drive.

A burglar entered a room with a key fraudulently obtained from a front desk, and property was stolen between 6:15 and 7 a.m. May 9 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

Property was stolen from an unlocked garage between May 2 and 9 in the 600 block of Malat Drive.

Somebody was seen peeping into a home around 9:30 p.m. May 9 in the 1600 block of Amador Lane.

A miscreant shot two bullets into someone's home between 5 and 9 p.m. April 29 in the 600 block of American Oaks Avenue.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: between 1 and 5:30 p.m. May 7 in the 900 block of N. Ventu Park Road (window broken, stereo speakers stolen); May 10 or 11 in the 600 block of Barrington Court (unlocked); and May 10 or 11 in the 100 block of Virginia Drive.

Thousand Oaks

Alan Jimmy Cruz, 20, and Reymundo Osorio Baquiatch, 21, were arrested and charged with robbery around 12:30 a.m. May 10 at Galsworthy Drive and Hodencamp Road. The subjects allegedly stole a bicycle, food and money from someone by using force and intimidation. The crime occurred in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road, according to authorities.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 36, at 1:50 p.m. May 8 (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision); a male, 50, at 3:30 p.m. May 11 at Lynn Road and Ventu Park Road (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision); a male, 42, at 2:49 p.m. May 11 in the 2900 block of Calle Estepa; and a male, 24, at 9:09 p.m. May 11 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Moorpark Road.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 24, at 2:30 p.m. May 13 in the 900 block of Calle Tulipan (subject allegedly possessed glass smoking devices and a controlled substance); a male, 24, at 2:20 p.m. May 13 in the 900 block of Calle Tulipan (subject allegedly possessed smoking devices); a female, 19, at 2:45 p.m. May 13 in the 900 block of Calle Tulipan; and a male, 26, at 10:30 a.m. May 14 at Pederson and Radcliffe roads.

A female, 33, allegedly battered and injured someone, and she was arrested at 6:55 p.m. May 9 in the 600 block of Calle Tulipan.

A male, 24, was cited for alleged battery at 12:30 a.m. May 9 in the 300 block of N. Conejo School Road.

A male, 36, was cited for allegedly committing battery, at 11:25 p.m. May 12 in the 200 block of Gazania Court.

A male, 18, was arrested on charges of petty theft, possessing burglary tools, prowling and obstructing justice at 3 a.m. May 13 at Camino del Zuro and Calle Castano. The subject was observed attempting to break into vehicles, according to authorities.

For allegedly possessing a syringe and multiple medications without prescriptions, a male, 28, was arrested at 9:50 a.m. May 11 in the 900 block of Calle Margarita.

A male, 49, who was holding an alcoholic beverage, was cited for possessing a switchblade knife at 1:05 p.m. May 7 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 42, allegedly committed grand theft and child abuse at The Oaks mall on May 1, and was arrested at East County Sheriff's Station on May 11.

A male employee of Petco, 19, allegedly activated two $50 Petco gift cards inside the store on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, and sold them to a friend. The subject was cited for petty theft at 1:26 p.m. May 12.

For allegedly obstructing justice and violating a court order, a male, 36, was arrested at 4:05 p.m. May 8 in the 200 block of Via Mirabella.

A male, 23, allegedly stole a bottle of alcohol then struggled with deputies during his arrest. The subject was arrested on charges of shoplifting and obstructing justice at 7:15 p.m. April 11 in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 18, was arrested on two counts of transporting large quantities of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 4:38 p.m. May 1 atMeadow Brook Court and Rikkard Drive. A male, 19, was also arrested and charged with transporting large quantities of marijuana.

For attempting to steal bottles of shampoo from Ralphs on N. Moorpark Road, a male, 23, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. May 8. The subject reportedly had hidden pockets sewn into his front pant legs.

A male, 27, was arrestd and charged with stealing property from Ralphs at 1:15 p.m. May 8.

A male, 32, was cited for petty theft at 4:40 p.m. April 30 in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road.

For urinating in public, a male, 55, was cited at 10 a.m. May 13 in the 1300 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A female, 53, was cited for shoplifting at 3:15 p.m. May 13 in the 1000 block of Calle Nogal.

The following subjects were cited for possessing small amounts of marijuana: A male, 18, at 5:15 p.m. May 7 at Waverly Park; a male, 18, at 4:45 p.m. May 1 in the 2100 block of Meadow Brook Court; and a male, 26, at 8 p.m. May 8 in the 1300 block of E. Janss Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between 1 and 1:40 p.m. May 12 in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (laptop computer stolen); on May 8 or 9 in the 600 block of Hollyburne Lane (unlocked); on May 8 or 9 in the 500 block of W. Gainsborough Road (iPod was stolen); and on May 8 or 9 in the 1400 block of Pleasant Oaks Place.

A vehicle was vandalized ($200 in damage) on May 9 in the 1300 block of Calle Pecos.

Someone stole a key ring before returning a portion of the key ring the next day. The crime allegedly occurred between June 16 and 20 but was recently reported.

A laptop computer was stolen from someone's work station between May 8 and 11 in the 200 block of E. Lombard Street.

Shoplifting occurred at Home Goods on N. Moorpark Road around 2:25 p.m. May 13.

Grand theft was attempted between 4 and 4:20 p.m. May 13 in the 2100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Grand theft occurred between March 7 and 12 in the first block of W. Olsen Road.

Petty theft occurred between 12:30 and 2 p.m. May 8 in the 400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

Gang graffiti was discovered on a storage container at Conejo Community Park, 1201 Dover Ave., on May 10.

Graffiti was painted on a wall across from the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive between May 8 and 11.

A female, 40, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and drinking in public at 12:45 p.m. May 8 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive. She allegedly told police, "I'm drunk." Police say the subject possessed a half-empty bottle of malt liquor, reeked of alcohol, spoke loudly, slurred her speech and staggered when she attempted to walk or stand. The same subject was arrested for the same infractions the next day, May 9, at 10:20 a.m. in the first block of S. Rancho Road. The subject was seen walking into traffic, where she nearly got hit by vehicles.

Property was stolen from a business between 3 and 3:45 p.m. May 8 in the 1200 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

Graffiti caused damage to the south wall of the kindergarten building at Westlake Elementary School between May 8 and 11. The damage was $150.
