L.A. County cop surrenders voluntarily
      Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Steven Mark Flamm, 42, has been arrested after turning himself in to Thousand Oaks police earlier this month.

      Newbury Park A male, 25, was arrested and charged with burglary, threatening to shoot someone and resisting arrest at 6 p.m. May 10 in the back of Amgen building No. 73. A male, 43, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs—and charging at police deputies—at 12:30 a.m.

Newbury Park woman to face embezzlement charges
      A Newbury Park woman will be held on six counts and a special allegation that says she embezzled more than $50,000 from a charity. Ventura County Superior Court Judge Ken Riley found there was enough evidence for a trial.

T.O. exhibitionist has apparently stopped exposing himself
      After the Thousand Oaks Police Department asked the public to help identify a man who's been exposing himself since September 2006, the incidents stopped. Last July, police went public with an incident that had occurred on June 26 near Pederson Road and Northwood Parkway.

Prescription drug disposal program offered at Camarillo police station
      In April, the Camarillo Police Department took more than 120 pounds of drugs off the street. The large haul wasn't seized in an undercover drug sting but was acquired through the prescription drug disposal program at the Camarillo police station.
