Ventura County District Attorney Gregory Totten announced May 15 that the death penalty will not be sought for Calvin Sharp, 29, who has been charged in the Aug. 12, 2007, death of 6-year-old Sev'n Molina in Thousand Oaks.

A jury trial is scheduled for July 15 in Ventura County Superior Court.
