Andre Mardian PINNACLE IN SCOUTING- - A court of honor was recently held for Andre Mardian of Troop No. 754. Andre is sponsored by the Elks Lodge No. 2477 of Thousand Oaks. For his Eagle Scout project, Andre and 14 of his fellow scouts and friends demolished the horseshoe pits at Wendy Park in Newbury Park. They redesigned and built a new horseshoe pits, according to exact game regulations, added railroad ties for pit walls, and erected a wooden sign holder for "rules of the game."
