Newbury Park
A male, 19, was cited for alleged petty theft at East County Sheriff's Station on May 6. The crime occurred March 19 in the 500 block of S. Reino Road.
A male, 23, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 1:45 p.m. May 4 at Old Conejo Road and Wendy Drive.
On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a male, 21, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. April 30 in the 600 block of Paseo La Perla.
A male, 24, was arrested and charged with possessing a substance believed to be heroin and a crude smoking device at 1:15 p.m. May 4 in the 700 block of N. Wendy Drive.
A male, 26, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. April 30 at Knollwood Drive and Crownhaven Court and charged with obstructing justice.
For allegedly committing corporal injury to his spouse and disobeying a court order, a male, 45, was arrested at 10:55 a.m. May 4 in the 100 block of Bluefield Avenue. The crime occurred in the 100 block of Lupe Avenue.
A male, 31, was cited for allegedly possessing less than one ounce of marijuana and an open container of alcohol at 12:10 a.m. April 29 at Newbury Road and the Newbury Road connector to the 101 Freeway.
A burglary was attempted at Nail Art on Newbury Road on May 2 or 3.
A burglar attempted to break into Red Persimmon Nail and Spa on N. Wendy Drive on May 2 or 3.
Several hundred feet of copper wire and other plumbing materials were stolen in the 500 block of Ventu Park Road on May 6 or 7.
Three unlocked vehicles were broken into on April 29 or 30 in the 4800 block of Via Estrella.
Two males, 61 and 51, were cited for allegedly drinking alcohol in public at 11:40 a.m. May 4 at Windtree Avenue and Newbury Road.
Thousand Oaks
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 28, at 10:40 p.m. April 25 in the 500 block of Timberwood Avenue (subject was found asleep in the front seat of his vehicle); a female, 40, at 12:20 a.m. April 29 at Conejo School Road and Chiquita Lane; and a male, 28, at 2:35 a.m. April 21 at Moorpark and Wilbur roads.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 26, at 8:10 p.m. May 1 in the 2100 block of Waterby Street (subject allegedly possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine and a smoking device and was driving at night without headlights); and a female, 18, at 2:20 p.m. May 7 in the 1000 block of Ashford Court.
A male, 20, was arrested on charges of burglary and possessing stolen property at 1:10 a.m. May 3 at Warwick Avenue and Wilbur Road.
A female, 39, allegedly battered and injured her husband, and she was arrested at 7 p.m. May 5 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
A female, 34, was arrested and charged with battery at 12:10 a.m. April 29 in the 800 block of Camino La Maida.
A female, 18, was cited for allegedly drinking alcohol as a minor in the parking lot of the old Circuit City on W. Hillcrest Drive at 9:30 p.m. May 5. The subject also allegedly possessed a controlled substance.
For allegedly possessing a controlled substance, a male, 23, was arrested at 1:25 p.m. May 6 at Moorpark Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
A male, 21, was arrested and charged with possessing a counterfeit $100 bill and marijuana at 4 p.m. April 30 in the first block of Conejo Boulevard.
A male, 39, allegedly refused to pay for food and drinks at Romano's Macaroni Grill on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, and he was arrested at 11:15 p.m. April 30.
A male, 23, was arrested in the 100 block of Mission Drive in Camarillo and charged with residential and vehicle burglaries in Thousand Oaks (in the 3000 block of Marigold Place), Camarillo and Santa Barbara at 1:30 p.m. April 29.
For allegedly attempting to break into a business, a male, 20, was arrested at 6:50 a.m. May 2 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
For allegedly committing petty theft on May 2 in the 400 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles, a male, 19, was cited in Moorpark on May 5.
A thief stole a diamond worth $22,900 at Hampshire Jewelry on Hampshire Road between March 1 and 31.
A business was burglarized on May 1 or 2 in the 900 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores.
More than $400 in property was damaged on April 29 or 30 in the 3500 block of Willow Lane.
Burglaries were attempted at the following businesses: Jamie's Hair Design & Day Spa on Thousand Oaks Boulevard around 6 a.m. May 1; West Oaks Dental on Thousand Oaks Boulevard; Park Oaks Mower Services on E. Avenida de Los Arboles on May 1 or 2; Osterloh Optometry on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard around 4:30 a.m. May 2; Evergreen Cleaners, 3900 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. on April 20 or 21.
A basketball court was damaged after a graffiti incident near the Ranch View Estates neighborhood off Conejo School Roadbetween April 30 and May 3.
Two shoplifters stole goods from 7-Eleven on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard around 10:35 p.m. May 5.
A wallet was stolen from an unattended purse in a dressing room at the Ross department store on N. Moorpark Road between 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. April 25.
Several computers were stolen from a business between May 1 and 4 in the 2200 block of Lynn Road.
A bicycle was stolen between midnight and 1:30 a.m. May 6 in the 900 block of Calle Pecos. Another bicycle was also stolen between April 29 and May 5 in the 1000 block of El Segundo Drive.
Money was stolen from a home on May 4 or 5 in the first block of E. Gainsborough Road.
Graffiti was discovered on a garage door in the 2700 block of Irongate Place on May 2. The damage exceeded $400.
A vandal used paint and damaged the door of Planned Parenthood on N. Moorpark Road between May 1 and 4. The damage was $25.
A shoplifting incident occurred at the AT&T store on N. Moorpark Road around 1:30 p.m. May 2.
Property was damaged ($2,000 loss) around midnight on May 4 in the 100 block of Maegan Place.
Property was stolen ($1,300 loss) between May 1 and 4 in the 2200 block of Lynn Road.
Grand theft occurred on May 1 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
Petty theft occurred between 2:15 and 2:20 p.m. April 30 in the 700 block of Greenwich Drive.
Petty theft occurred at Ralphs on N. Moorpark Road between 2:15 and 2:55 p.m. April 30.
Property was stolen from an unlocked home on May 6 in the 200 block of Houston Drive.
Grand theft occurred between May 1 and 7 in the 1900 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
A thief cashed a fraudulent $448 check from Amgen between Dec. 19 and 24. The crime was recently reported.
Shoplifting involved a loss of $372 between 7:30 and 7:50 p.m. May 7 in the 1600 block of N. Moorpark Road.
An arsonist started a fire just before midnight May 6 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.
A burglary was attempted between 3 and 6:30 p.m. May 3 in the 1200 block of Calle de Oro.
A male, 42, was arrested and charged with obstructing justice at 5 p.m. April 30 in the 600 block of Avenida Del Platino.
A male, 49, was cited for allegedly removing waste from a trash bin in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive at 12:23 p.m. May 7.
For allegedly selling ice cream without a permit, a male, 24, was cited at 2:10 p.m. April 30 at Rancho Road and T.O. Boulevard.
A vandal broke two windows and dented a trunk lid and a door of a vehicle ($1,000 in damage) on May 1 or 2 in the 3000 block of Pocano Court.
A $135 vehicle window was smashed on May 3 or 4 in the 200 block of E. Blueberry Road.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and locations: Between 7:30 and 11:30 a.m. April 22 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road; between April 21 and 28 in the 2200 block of Townsgate Road; between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. April 30 in the 1100 block of Deepwood Drive (gardening equipment was stolen from the truck bed); between April 19 and 21 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; between 12:05 and 1:55 a.m. May 2 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between 1:30 and 2:25 p.m. May 2 at Wildwood Park at the west end of Avenida de Los Arboles (six vehicles); between 1 and 2:30 p.m. May 2 at the Fiore Playfieldoff Avenida de Los Arboles (two vehicles); around 5:30 a.m. May 3 in the 1200 block of Uppingham Drive (unlocked); between 10:30 and 11:59 p.m. May 3 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; on May 4 or 5 in the 1300 block of Lamont Street (unlocked); on April 25 or 26 in the 900 block of Calle Clavel (unlocked); and between 4:25 and 5 p.m. April 28 at the Conejo Valley Dog Park off Avenida de Las Flores (window broken, purse stolen).
A male, 65, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 3:55 p.m. May 4 in the first block of S. Rancho Road.
The following subjects were cited for allegedly drinking alcohol in public: A male, 38, and a female, 40, around 7 p.m. May 1 at a bus stop at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Hodencamp Road; a male, 31, at 4:55 p.m. May 1 at Estella Park; and a male, 56, at 5 p.m. May 2 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Los Feliz Drive.
Westlake/T.O.
A male, 52, allegedly violated a domestic restraining order and was cited at 4:10 p.m. May 5 in the 1200 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
Shoplifters stole property from Blockbuster on S. Westlake Boulevard around 4:30 p.m. on May 4.
Grand theft was attempted at Manchester Financial on Townsgate Road on May 2 or 3.
Property was stolen ($600 loss) from Jolie Quest Hotels and Resorts on Townsgate Road between May 1 and 4.
Property valued at more than $400 was stolen from a backyard between 9:15 and 9:45 a.m. May 7 in the 1500 block of Fairmount Road.
